DrillScape at CAGGTUS: our best weekend so far

We have just had the best weekend in our studio’s history – and still don’t know how things will go on.
The DrillScape proof of concept was shown in public for the first time, at CAGGTUS in Leipzig. The booth was hardly ever empty, people came back several times because no seat was free, several publisher scouts talked to us, and DrillScape collected lots of new wishlists on Steam and new playtesters over the weekend.
The reaction to what we have planned: reliably sparkling eyes. Now all we need is the room to finish it. Tomorrow the Mitteldeutsche Medienförderung (MDM) decides – we are beyond excited.
A huge thank you to Games Ground Berlin for the butter-smooth organisation of the Indie Ground, to the Stiftung Digitale Spielekultur and the Press Start team, without whom we wouldn’t have been there at all, and to R42 for a great evening: Mario Kart, new faces, good drinks. As alumni, it makes us happy every time to see what the building has become.
Thanks as well to all our booth neighbours and the many people we got to meet. One thing is certain: somehow, we keep going.
Update: It worked, the DrillScape demo is being funded.
